Cart Meet Horse

One game at a time. Proud of the team regardless of how it turns out, NCAA or NIT. They became relevant to the conversation by bringing the lunch pail mentality of coming to work and getting better each day. They overcame adversity created by their lousy early play and selfishness of Kenny Hall. Never give up, good things can happen.

Exactly, very proud of this team of there hard work and not shutting it down in January. GO Vols!

It's hard not to get excited. I aint hating on Bruce but honestly, Martin don't seem like the type to let these guys keep their guard down. The 'chip on the shoulder'/picked to finish 11th / wrote off by everyone' really adds to the toughness of this team. Plus, with the way we play defense, we can play with anyone in the country!

I just cannot say how proud of this team I am. Everything from here on out is gravy. I think the rest of the country is starting to see the Cinderella story in all of this. If our boys continue to play with heart, passion and actually have a little fun they are unstoppable. I just hope that they don't feel a bit of pressure to continue to over-perform, just go play ball. They have made us all very proud!

I'm just as excited as any VOL fan on this great run but to talk NCAA tourney before we win a games in SEC tourney is the classic cart before the horse. I'm not supersticious just cautious because All of you know our history in the SEC tourney and its not good. It is one game at time from here on out, enjoy the this great run and hope we can win the most important game, the next one. Hope to see a lot Vols in NO on Friday. GO VOLS!!!

I don't consider myself a "negative nancy", but I agree with this post.

We have a long way to go before making the NCAA tourney. The team is peaking at the right time, but our record on the road is questionable, and this is still a young team.

We need to win a game or two in the SEC before discussing how we might end up in the NCAA tourney.

Everyone's excited, but I agree, let's not put the cart before the horse. Got business to handle in the SEC tourney before getting antsy for Selection Sunday.

We didn't get beat by the FT line. The refs giving us a living at the charity stripe was the only reason we were in the game. It was a gift we had a chance to win. We should have been down double digits.

Great run by Martin to close the year. We should have our sights on playing at the MSG now.

Other than the last blown call, the refs weren't bad. It was a little inconsistent but that's all officiating these days.

Although, the and-1 by Henry to tie the game when Ole Miss was down by three with 2 to go in the 2nd half was a complete walk.

People need ro learn how to comprehend what they read. I said we lost it at the free throw line by a team who done something they dont normally do and thats hit free throws. If they shoot their normal 56percent instead of 80 percent we win. I didnt say we didnt get to the line enough.

I understood. I just thought it was complete bunk. And when trying to be tough and tell someone to learn something, you should at least have your facts right in your argument. UM shot closer to 56% than 80% from the line.
