Casey Clausen didn't have the skills to be an NFL towel boy.

You know the night I met him he was going the next day for an invite with the Bears to basically tryout for QB. So the Bears thought he was a little better then a towel boy. They were paying to fly him there. He took it so seriously he got waisted and was trying to get from the VIP we were in to the super VIP cuz the Black Eyed Peas were in there--I left him there cuz it was 3 am and getting old. I think he said his flight to Chicago was at 8am. So yeah he really achieved his potential at that tryout I am sure.

Somehow, being so talentless, he started for Tennessee won some big games and such. I mean he did that basically playing on talent never really even worked out properly (which lets us all have more insight into the workings of a Fulmer team).

Casey is about waisted potential. He had the talent. He can blame himself and Fulmer. He was not developed properly. He should of been disciplined when he failed to do what was required of him. And he should of been less of a little kid and taking responsibility for his future. I am sure he feels a similar way right about now but who knows.:hi:

nice...i played rick, ainge, and jim bob's intramural softball team and rick was absolutely terrible.

He must have been cold that night. He was on fire when he played with me. I've played against Jim Bob several times too...he always plays with Casey Woods. He's not usually ask accurate, but his trash talk is way better.
In light of what happened to him recently, though, I am starting worry about some of the things he threatened to do.

Casey dating Brittany Jackson....now that was a joke if I've ever seen one. Anyone who met Casey in college knows he was a cocky punk. Looks like he's doing well for himself...working for dad and being a high school QB guru.

I have a hard time understanding what is important and what is not when posting. Some of the most wise contributors to this medium are over 40 and very new to computers and threads and such. I have been called out for posting incorrectly and still am not sure what I did wrong. I know it is my ignorance and you guys expect a certain level of compentency. However, I wish you thread policemen would throw a flag on the silly childish arguments and keep the conversations about Vols football. Let us old guys post as best we can as long as our points are valid. You might just learn something new. As for myself, I love the vols as much as you do. I just don't want guys like me afraid to express there opinions for fear you will make fun of their posting skills. Please weed out the rumors and rude folks first.

Act like you been there before.

Don't even slightly worry about it. Just keep posting and if it's out of place we'll fix it. :good!:

Don't let it worry you. All the mods are cool on this board. You just have to overlook some of the kids that like to play grown up.:)

I hope we never see another clausen there all horrible.

Yeah....Casey never won any big games here, nor is he 2nd behind Manning in almost all of our passing records.

Comments like this, and we have the audacity to bash any other teams' fan base for being fickle.

They mentioned today on the the Sports Animal about if he wins the SECCG in 02, how much different his legacy would be, and even suggested that Fulmer wouldn't have been fired. Not sure I agree with the last part.

Lets just hope Casey did not teach him his vaunted touch pass over the middle. I broke more tv remotes because of the 2-4 passes he would float over the middle in big games and have 50% of those be crucial interceptions. If he would not have done that, then he would have been remembered as one of the best instead of being in the 2nd tier.
