Hey LIO, the ACLU is the scurge of this nation. When we disband this organization we can become a country again rather than a special interest society trying to be run by minorities. The election showed America is sick of this crap! W...Forever

Believe it or not, I cannot argue with any of that.

:nono: Spurrier doesn't have a membership to Augusta, that was a rumor when he was in the running for the UNC job. USC never mentioned that and as he said his golf game isn't good enough to be a member there.

Golf HAS to be THE lamest game in the universe.

:bad: LIO, (GASP!!!)

You just ruined my morning. I was sitting at my desk trying to dream up some way to get out of here early one day this week, while concealing that I was free from my wife so I didn't stuck with any chores, for the sole purpose of sneaking off to the local course so I can play in the freezing cold on dead grass. It was going to be so perfect. . . .

Golf is only "lame" to those who have never needed an excuse to get out with the boys and enjoy a brewsky while masquerading the escapade as "friendly competition," "fresh air," or "exercise."

Only problem? The hole is about the size of a quarter and it's 5.3 miles away from the tee, AND golf balls are manufactured specifically to "spin," which is code for "slice wildly off the clubface into some poor, unsuspecting family's kitchen window as they sit down to breakfast."

Damn first tee jitters.

Oh, and for those who have never been to the metropolis of Augusta, Georgia: National is the most exclusive club in the country -- so much so, that you can't even see the course. It's gated to keep visitors out and entirely surrounded by a solid green fence/wall. I'm sure they wouldn't take kindly to visor throwing and a mediocre golf game.

If I can put up with women's basketball - LIO can put up with golf.

Well put. I mean this in the least demeaning possible way, but couldn't they consider lowering the rim about 6 inches or so to make up for the average height difference between men and women? It would really be cool to see some glass breaking or rims ripped down once in a while. There's just something about having a goal that is within reach that seems to make the play in the paint more fun to watch.

I'd say bring the rim down a foot. The few women I've seen that can dunk, in the WNBA can only kinda get up there. Nothing mind-blowing.

I can guarantee you that nobody at a WNBA game is interested in blowing anything. :eek:lol: :dlol:
