I haven't noticed. I guess I'm used to it by now. They can whine with the best of them.
I thought the Vols did get some home cooking on Rocky Top on Saturday. That has to be expected when you go on the road. The Cats played poorly in the first half, the Vols played very well, and that was the difference.

As long as we continue to spend the first 25 seconds of every shot clock throwing the ball around the perimeter, you'd better get used to a FT disparity.Dude all you have to do is read the boxscores. It's a fact that the Vols had more fg's made and less turnovers at vandy, yet got blown out due to the ft dissparity! Freethrows were a huge factor at rupp as well. facts are facts.
I listened to the Ky post game call in show Saturday on the radio. Three different callers said that KY didn't win because of the refs--TYPICAL. I guess a 10 free throw differential wasn't enough. They needed 17 extra attempts for the game to be "fair."
As a Vol fan living in Ky all of my life I can say that the experience has not given any respect, etc. for KY. With each and every passing year, I only want to beat them worse and worse.

Nobody got "cheated"...
I wonder how many post game threads, headlines, or conversations speak about officiating after a CLOSE game probably many. Sports fans are always quick to point out a certain call here or there which could have changed the outcome, so, theres nothing new about this response from a frenzied fan base like UKs.
From my perspective, UT simply wanted this game more they earned the victory. A win is a win and this game should help seeding in the NCAA-T. UK played poorly partly because of UTs will and a great home crowd.
Many of us are salivating at the chance to meet you guys again though. Thanks for keeping the rivalry fresh and exciting.
I also live in kensucky too. And it was unreal all of the excuses that I heard. People were saying that Bruce was paying the refs.
...I know that UT interrupted KY's season-long thumping of their own chests over being better than everybody else...I can't imagine what it would do to some people if UT beats them again. I don't expect to happen, but it's not beyond possible.

Home cooking? Please explain. What call(s) are you upset about?
After the UT-UK game in Lex, with every UT drive and score resulting in a "charge," and the Starkville OT calls for you guys, I'd love to know what part of Saturday's game you thought was unfair.
I'm to the point that whenever a UK player charges over another SEC player at a key moment in a game, and the ref calls said charge, it feels like a gift. That's how I felt about Williams taking the charge from Wall. I'm surprised they actually gave us the call.
fact that UT is more apt to commit fouls?

I don't know why everyone thinks that foul disparities are such a big deal. Yes the officiating was bad Saturday, however, I have seen a whole boatload of games with big differences in fouls called that were officiated just fine. It has as much to do with style of play and aggressiveness/timidity as anything.
