I like it. I believe him. I hope he can convince the junior prospects to stay. I think he can make them more NFL-ready. Given how this basketball team has started, I'm ready for Spring practice to begin. I think it's great to be a Tennessee Vol again.

Holy Mary mother of God, if you don't want to root for this guy you are insane....fired up. He won the presser and I think he can win on the field too.

I love that he embraces social media. recruits love that. Also, I really like how respectful he is to guys like Ward, Holloway, etc. And the support staff like the secretary in the video. Good way to get lots of buy in fast.

haha going to run the wing-t I know its a joke, but my high school runs the wing-t which we call the wing-g and omg they suck something awful with it lol. 3rd and 20 lets run a buck trap up the middle lol.

His confidence seems infectious, so I hope he gets the team to start thinking of themselves as champions.

I noticed a couple players turning around to friends grinning and nodding when Coach said that we would bring the Tennessee Swag. This is a player's coach who can relate and communicate with today's players.

i really like him..i watched sum youtube videos of him a cinnci, and he got me pumped! i feel confident in him!!!:good!:

im ready for them to say "its football time in TENNESSEE!!"

My favorite part is when he said we will run and pass on offense. Vince Lombardi stuff right there. Seriously, people are inspired by that collection of cliches and coach speak? It simply reinforced my idea that we have a ceiling of about 9 wins with the guy at the helm. Again, he's not bad, but not great and you need great in this conference.

You want to be inspired, find a Bruce Pearl video when he addressed his team and told them the losing stops now. So, commence with telling me how bad of a fan I am, but reality will hit soon enough that we hired a mediocre coach as the season comes. The University of Tennessee needs, and should demand, better.

Good piece. As was his PC. He's comes across as sincere, driven, and passionate. Like it.

Like many, I was caught by surprise when first I heard the rumor and a few short hours later the cold reality. Butch wasn't in my top choices but I support this team and will get behind him.

Anxious to see who he hires to fill-out his staff, how we finish in recruiting, the O & W gm (and the progress made with the team), and his product and their results on the field in the fall.
