How does Arkansas and Mizzou already get a game time? That could easily end up being one of the most irrelevant games in the SEC this year.

It's the Thanksgiving-week Friday game, as of the conference scheduling change-up.

LSU and Arkansas now play Nov. 15.

LSU now plays Texas A&M Nov. 27 (so on Thanksgiving Day itself).

Arkansas now plays Missouri Nov. 28 (the day after Thanksgiving)

So in other words, they havent really decided anything.

Pretty much. They only choose about 3-4 games before the season anyways.

But there are also people here that like to look at it and figure out what weeks are UT's best chances of making the CBS game, etc.

Will this be the year that we finally break the CBS/Verne and Gary losing streak?

Those guys are the angels of death for UT football.

Tennessee at UGA has a decent shot to be the CBS game on Sept 27. Only real competition is Missouri-South Carolina, and CBS has not liked to pick Missouri games so far.

Tennessee-Mizzou might be the CBS pick on Nov 27 by default, depending on how Missouri is doing. Our game and Arkansas-Ole Miss look to be the two best games on a terrible weekend.

I think that's it for us. The UF game is going up against Auburn-LSU; Alabama against Auburn-South Carolina.

After the epic fail of 2013, the florida-tennessee game should be blacked out from television for a minimum of 5 years to provide the proper motivation to never play a football game like that again.

Arkansas vs Mizzou is now an annual rivalry stuck to the day after Thanksgiving. Sort of like the (really ) half-arse Tennessee-Alabama annual game

Nope, they do not. After how those two 2012 games went ratings-wise, they've pretty much viewed a Missouri game as a ratings black hole / stayed as away from them as they could.

I think even if missouri managed to do well, though, that the UT-MO game would still fall to an ESPN channel.

I think 2012 was more hyped and a bigger disappointment.

What the heck was CBS thinking by picking Georgia-Florida game over Vandy - Old Dominion on 1 November???

Vandy - UMass game on 13 Sept also got unexpectedly passed over by GA-USCe.

Must be a Georgia homer picking out games!
