"IF" we don't does this mean Bruce is coming back?

:whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling:

Just couldn't resist.

:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

How about giving up on that idea? I'll be here all week and all year if need be. Pearl wont be back. "maybe' you had someone else in mind. Probably not.

who cares about seeding or who we play. If you want to be in the NCAA tournament you are gonna have to beat good teams regardless... bring on anyone and lets take them head on instead of being scared of Arkansas?? really.

This is #1's bracket:

This may be #1, but they didn't do their homework. Pretty sure they won't match up Memphis and Oklahoma State for a 3rd game. I know it's not excluded as conference teams, but there is no reason for that to happen.

I really don't get why Pitt is so high in the matrix, or even in it at all. Their RPI is mediocre, they have zero quality wins (best win is over fellow bubble Stanford), and their non-conference schedule was offensive.

I agree. Unfortunately, I think they get in because they are top 5 in the ACC and will probably end up with ~ 24 wins. The system is messed up. If UT schedules two cupcakes instead of Wichita and NC State, then we are 21-9, one game behind Pitt.

No bad losses is carrying them, Stanford could end up not being a top 50 win though, giving them 0.

When you're a bubble team, every analyst is going to have a different speculation on your chances at tourney contention, but it does feel nice to have lunardi on our side this time around

Would you rather make the tournament, lose first round and keep Martin or not make the tournament and fire Martin guaranteed? I have no opinion one way or the other but it seems like this is how the basketball fan base is divided.

Making the tourney is priority #1. I do want Martin gone, but I honestly think he'll probably get another year regardless of how the rest of the season plays out. My ideal situation is for Bruce to come back, but that's a long shot.

Tourney comes first. Period.

in the #SEC tournament in order to make the NCAA tournament.

I personally think he is wrong but it is what he does.

You're too kind. He's actually full of ****. But UT could beat UK right now. They are a dysfunctional bunch. But anyone with half a brain knows if UT wins vs Mizzou, gets a 3 or 4 seed, wins in the Qfinals they are in. Whether we win in the Sfinals or not will depend on whether we face UK or UF. I'd like to think they could beat either and might have to beat both to win the SECT. Would'nt that be nice? Win the SECT. Something rock star Pearl didn't even do with a 30 win team.

Jerry Palm is a smiling d*ckhead,I trust Lunardi's predictions more. He has UT as a #11 seed right now.

Play like this the through the SECT and we will be much better than a 11 seed

Can you think of a team that can beat us in the tourney if we bring that defense for forty minutes, minus maybe Florida? I won't buy KY...not if THAT defense is present..

Florida is the only team IMO, which is why it really sucks we are on the same side of the bracket.

Would've loved to meet them in the championship game.
