Brian Kelly is a real head coach. I don’t get the urge to discredit him by Vol fans. Probably the same ones who “just didn’t see it” with Jayden Daniels before he had an all time year and the same one who thought “we have ourselves a football coach” after Jeremy Pruitt beat Auburn.

He’s a slightly above average coach. Most are. If he was that special they would have been in the playoffs every year due to talent available. Same deal at ND.

He took over Notre Dame from Charlie Weis, who had run them into the ground, and got to the playoffs. He went undefeated with Cincinnati, they lost to Tebow and Florida in the bowl game, but he was already at ND. Took over a horrible CMU team that Mike DeBord with Butch Jones as OC had run in to the ground and made them conference champs. Even went to the SEC Championship game his first year at LSU. Oh, and he won national championships at a lower level.

Plain and simply put, it takes an idiot to claim he isn’t a “real coach.” Now you can argue that he isn’t an elite coach, but there aren’t 10 guys in college football with a better resume.

He took Notre Dame to the playoff. Also took them to the national championship game before the playoff was a thing. There was no playoff when he was at Cincinnati and CMU, but Cincinnati would have gone his last year if they had a 12 or maybe even a 4 team playoff at the time.

Where did I call him the Jesus Christ of football? I objected to the notion that he isn’t a “real coach.” Anyone who wins more than 70% of their games and wins more than 200 games is a “real coach,” and anyone who disagrees with is a real idiot.

You also screwed up your horrible excuse of a Marjorie Taylor Green joke because your IQ is lower than Brian Kelly’s winning percentage.

Yea I believe that as well. It takes a dummy to identify a dummy. So you got me there. LOL
Recruits to name schools but not to sharp on the X & Os. He should have a few more NCs than what he does. 1 would be more than he currently has.

Of course a dummy would just pass over this and not pay any attention to it. I guess you blame it on his staffs. He can recruit but he cannot coach. Hit the Tiger Forum and I am sure you will find lots of support. A lot of BS stated.

You’re so full of ****. He is not the greatest coach in college football, but to say the guy isn’t a good coach is absolutely absurd. For you to double, triple, quadruple down on it makes you look even dumber, somehow.

When did anyone ever think he had the best team in college football? Yet he should have a few National championships? Was he supposed to dethrone Saban? Outdo Kirby Smart? Build a better team than Clemson had in the 2010s?

He has more SEC championship appearances than Josh Heupel, fwiw. How many good coaches do you think there are in college football? 3?
