It'll be interesting to see how Oriakhi fits in at Missouri, pretty different system compared to UCONN.

I know it's based on expectations, but I'm surprised Noel is that high. I mean, the only thing he has accomplished so far is that there were questions raised about his recruitment.

I just hope Maymon sees the list and plays with a chip on his shoulder and shows he should be higher.

Speaking of Maymon, any update on his knee? I had a friend today mention he was on crutches when he came to class today.

What are Nerlens strengths? Is he just an athletic shot blocker? Or complete offensively as well?

Shot blocker more than anything. He has a little ways to go offensively. He will be a step down from Anthony Davis but will be good.

Basically a clone of Anthony Davis, but without the unibrow. Ridiculous on defense, raw on offense except for dunks. Wouldn't hurt either of them to gain 25 pounds.

Noel is overrated, IMO

How is he overrated? No ones seen him play a game of college ball yet. Did anyone expect Davis to do what he did? Im definitely not sayin he's as good as Davis cause it wont even be close, imo.

Personally i see poythress being our best player come March. 6'7 235lb SF...crazy potential there and a mismatch nightmare for anyone in the SEC

Their offensive skill set are not even close to being the same. I'll give you d, basically a clone is laughable.

You asked a question then immediately answered it with the next sentence.

The fact he's not been practicing has been concerning, if he doesn't play in the scrimmage I'm really gonna begin to worry.

I'm just wondering if it's only a precaution to where they're really trying to make his leg as immobile as possible... I would've thought he would be practicing again now, as well.

We will need him for the first tourney if we really want to make some noise and get our momentum rolling.
