I cannot help but get the impression that a certain percentage, perhaps even a majority, of the people talking about the ad are far more interested in using the discussion as a vehicle to just take some more shots at Tebow than they are interested in either the abortion debate or the propriety of the ad.

You mean other than the fact there is an obvious agenda being played here?

It is thier right to do a commercial. I really do not get the "it should not be aired" crowd.

Focus On the Family came to them. They agreed. I do not get the outrage.

I totally disagree with this.

1) I don't care that they have an agenda in running the ad.
Coca-Cola has an agenda in running theirs.

2) I am not going to be influenced by their ad. While Coke's ad may get me to grab one out of the fridge, I am unlikely to think to myself that I shouldn't go get an abortion today due to Tebow's ad.

3) Kids with sleds = good target practice opportunity.

Many of the people who have taken offense to the ad probably couldn't otherwise distinguish Tim Tebow from Tom Brady, so I doubt they have ax to grind as far as football is concerned.
