CCM on the Purdue job...

I can stand on my front porch and see Purdue's campus. I don't know much about the assistants pay, but I can tell you they are upgrading their facilities and they are soon to be one of the best in the Big 10-12.

Yeah Mackey is getting a huge upgrade! Things are looking very good in West Lafayette

Painter believes he deserves more money and the Purdue AD laughed at him.

Would be a great chance for Stevens to move up and stay local. If Painter moved over to a lateral or decending school (MIzzou or NC State) then Stevens would accept a raise and be content if he left Butler. He knew what he had with Howard, Mack and Heyward and once Heyward left for NBA he still knew what was left. Howard and Mack were very good and experienced college baskteball players. I think it might be a little different once the other two leave.

Does anyone think that hamilton made run@ painter a la muschamp in the dooley hire? Hamilton on the radio spoke of speaking with painter as if they were golfing buddies. Sounded like Painter was CCM's agent

Why are so many people impressed with coach speak? Let me guess, is he gonna take it one game at a time?

Cuonzo Martin said he "definitely" knew Purdue job might be open soon: "I love Purdue and always will ... but now I'm a Tennessee Vol."

Wow, that says something in my mind.

He has probably been told, by multiple sources, that the support from above isn't what it was when he was playing there.

I think it speaks volumes that he would go to Tennessee with the Purdue opening possibly there for him. He has been mentioned as an automatic choice for Purdue if Painter were to go to Mizzou.

Well Martin hasn't signed a contract here yet but seem unlikely but with our luck who knows.
