Cedrick Wilson, former Vol, is facing charges in Memphis along with several other teachers for hiring others to take a test to certify them as teachers. Cedrick could be facing prison time if convicted.

My family has teachers but times are changing.You must have standards set and you must have pre-teachers passing praxis exams just like a lot of professional careers,nursing,etc. The bottom line is if you can not pass these required tests you have no business teaching or nursing. I know you get ample chances to pass them. I think the educational system in Tennesssee needs to gravitate to all teachers having no less than a masters degree. I just think that much time spent preparing you will be more dedicated and educated to teach.
