Ignore me all you want. I won't be here to notice.

At least for a little while. I am going to get a massage.

(my wife bought me a stack of gift certificates for massages for christmas. i so love her!)

Yes but almost everything over a million is stock options.

Before the million dollar rule Clinton passed CEO pay was normally straight cash pay-outs, he changed that with his law and now over a million is normally in stock.

I see where people freak out at 48 million but it's more like 1 million and 47 million in stock. Most of the stock must be held for a certain amount of time before it can be sold also which makes the receiver tied to the success of the company.

10 million on the other hand is not that much money for running a company. I know that might seriously offend some on here but it's the truth. And the idea that a ceo or owner should only make about 25 times what the average person makes is laughable.

Neocon, agree, however it was happening before clinton took office

yes but clinton changed the tax code for payouts over a million which made companies switch to stock over a million.

i have no problem with someone making alot, but i have a huge problem with the too big to fail crap.

all the big banks are still tbtf, and getting bigger. Please believe their lobbies are going to neuter any legislation to restore sanity. Exorbitant ceo pay is still going to be a factor
