CBS gets two doubleheader weekends a year. Per its contract with the conference, they get one afternoon and evening doubleheader as well as one noon and afternoon doubleheader. CBS also has to determine and select which weekends it will assign those doubleheaders (along with the day-after-Thanksgiving game and one game selection of their choice that usually ends up being Georgia-Florida) before the season starts (I think it’s either around March or in May such is done).

Personally, I hope this team doesn't approach every game left as though they have to blow out the other team. That puts a whole different pressure on them and may cause some crazy mistakes. They've won 8 games this year by putting forth their best effort and trying to win each game. I'm hoping we go 11-1 in the regular season and let the chips fall where they may regarding the playoffs. If we blow people out, all the better, but just win.

A solid win like 28-3 in the rain will be just fine, and wouldn't hurt us with the committee.

Every time people say this I don't understand it. Kirby hasn't done this all season long. Heck, he ran up the score to 55 points on Vandy and almost 50 on Oregon and SC. He would've done the same to us if he could've.
