CFP Quarterfinals Sugar Bowl: #7 Notre Dame vs #2 Georgia (Thursday January 2 4PM EST)

It is strange to me - just a few weeks ago after OSU lost to Michigan, they were the worst team ever and now they are going to win it all.

They could but each game is different and the team that showed up for Michigan and lost to Oregon earlier this year may show up against whomever they play in the next game.

I also think the defenses of the teams that remain are better than Tennessee and Oregon.
I agree. However, I will say since the UM game Chip Kelly has been very intentional and very good about getting their dominant WRs - especially Smith - involved and cooking.

If Kelly continues to be successful in scheme with their talent advantage . . . No one can touch them.

I'm just more tired of the narrative that ESPN and others love to spin due to their jealousy of what the SEC has done in the playoffs over the past 20+ years. I get the dislike for Bama, I do, but it's a slam against all SEC teams including Tennessee.
SEC will still out recruit most everyone else. We really need teams like Georgia especially to struggle.

Different guy at LT for Georgia but it looks eerily similar to their performance against the Ole Miss DE’s. They look like matadors. Of course, they looked like NFL blockers against us.

Georgia has some self inflicted wombs…that fumble/ND TD is on Kirby…what a foolish play call with a new QB deep in your territory and only 40 seconds…

and the kid who ran into the referee probably cost them a TD…they went from first and goal at the 5 yard line to first and 10 at the 30…

just takes a couple of stupid plays to lose a game
