I feel sorry for any idiot who feels the need to buy a Bungles jersey with "ocho cinco" on the back.
his 15 minutes of fame are just about used up and the Bungles will be such a bad team that no one will want to take a chance on Johnson infecting their locker room with his narcissism.
I never said he wasn't a good receiver, but the NFL's history is full of extremely talented players who's careers were cut short because they couldn't keep their heads on straight.
What a crock. Does the NFL and Reebok not realize that the sales of Ocho Cinco jersey will more than offset the cost of the jerseys that have already been made. Also, what do they do when a player changes teams? They certainly don't make those players pay for their old jerseys.

I'd be willing to bet you 70% percent of NFL teams could use a receiver who is all but guaranteed to produce 90 catches and 1200+ yards. Hell, the Redskins would have given us a 1st and a 3rd round pick for him not 3 months ago.
They probably could in the first week. 100,000 is not that many.
Are you joking? Just how many fans do you think the Cincinnati Bengals have? They're a horrible franchise. Now, you have to take that small subset of NFL fans and ask yourself how many of them even like Chad Johnson. That's a much smaller subset because Chad Johnson is a first class ass. Then, how many of the people that actually like Chad Johnson want to own a Chad Johnson jersey? Then, how many of those people that want a Chad Johnson jersey can afford one of these jerseys? 100,00 jerseys is a hell of a lot more than you think, particularly for a player that is performing as hideously as Chad Johnson is so far this year.
It's his legal name. Stop whining.the best part of this story is that Mr Ocho Cinco is suckin it up this year... 8 catches for 88 yards after 3 weeks, great job... it also drives me crazy that "ocho cinco" mean 8-5 not 85, what a moron..
if the nfl lets this happen, whats next? will they allow nike or reebok to pay a player to change their last name to Reebok or Nike so that they can put it on the back of a jersey and advertise???
