Sorry for your loss. I am not from Baltimore but as a kid I fell in love with the Colts. Even had black high top shoes and a crew cut like Johnny U. I guess I never thought until many years later that greed of the owner was the reason, not the lack of fan support. I tried to watch the Titans but something has been lacking in their watchability for me. When my favorite TN player got picked by my favorite team the marriage was complete. Maybe the Titans can win the division when Peyton retires. Hopefully he will win another couple of rings before then.

Since you're not from Maryland I'll grant you an exception and not make you watch the womens field hockey. I'll pull for the Colts over many teams just to see Peyton do well. Plus old man Irsay is dead and his son runs the team now- heard is nicer and not quite so greed driven. It's not Indy's fault anyway. As soon as Peyton retires they're back to garbage heap though.

Harris is a top 20 pick so his contract would be worth the wait if there is a lock out. Hopson would be a second round pick IMO, and would be better off coming back for another season since hsi contract wouldn't be guaranteed.

If Harris is a top 20 pick than he would be foolish to stay at UT another year. He will make enough money when he signs to retire, even if he washes out.

Soccer is the most unwatchable thing for me of all time.
Here is my list of sports to watch in order:

NFL football
TN football
UT basketball (I hope it is watchable going forward)
MLB (my team, not all the others)
College basketball
Hockey
NBA (playoffs only)
Women's beach volleyball

man i have to say i dont agree with you, back in the day nfl would been 2nd on my list behind ut football.in 1986 i went to basketball camp at tenn tech and i played on team with country music singer rodney atkins and one day he pulled out this sports almanac and started asking random questions and i would get them a;; right ,i use to could tell you what team won the 1923 world series .i cou;d tell you who won every superbowl and world series and being a miami dolphins fan i could tell you the won loss record and who they played and the name of ever player on team. but things change. i watched 35 superbowls in a row and i have on;y watched parts of the last five.miami use to play on local channels til manning got drafted by the colts.then they started showing colts games till the titans moved to nashville,1 tennessee vols football 2 vols basketball 3 nfl only if my ols fave dolphins and my now second fave titans are playing 4 nba if 76ers are on tv 5 i dont watch sports unless one of the teams listed are playing 6 i used to watch houston astros but bagwell and biggio retired.so i dont watch baseball, and i was a pittsburg pirates fan when bonds, bonilla, bream, drabek played but they left and bonds went from a skinny 36 home run man to a steroids useing 70 homer season homer being the underlined word

Yeah, love those long drawn out games, endless isolation plays and the dead crowds forcing piped music to play during the course of play. The NBA is fairly dull, even for a basketball guy like me.

I can't watch NBA, I like to watch poker but I only gamble on the stock market. Can watch an occasional baseball game. Baseball on tv is boring, it is a game that must be watched in person. I can take golf on tv in small doses. I have never played golf. Have played football, little league and Connie Mack baseball and basketball.

You must not be from the Maryland area. I was born in Baltimore and any true Colts fan would've disowned them like I did when their :machgun:scumbag owner Mayflowered the team in the middle of the night & ripped the heart out of Baltimore. It would be like Houston Oiler fans loving the Titans. It just isn't right and the punishment is having to watch a women's field hockey match.

Seems the Colts simply got a better deal in Indianappolis.

Financial gain is why most owners move teams. Irsay did it before exhausting all avenues to keep the team in the city. Fans were the losers so what else is new.

The Colts won 4 Championships the last being in 1971before his sorry a** took over the franchise in 1972 and ran it into the ground. His mgmt and handling is why attendance dwindled. Hard to sell out a piss poor product for 11yrs. It would still be a piss poor franchise if Manning hadn't arrived. They got him by being the worst team in the league and having the overall #1 pick. When he leaves they will be in the toilet again.

where do you get this stuff? There will be no NBA lockout. Think of something productive to talk about like where CCM new house is.
