0%. I don't think he'll land a tv gig either. Is ESPN going to hire him after running his story into the ground for a year? It's a shame too because he would be a great TV guy.

He will be teaming up with Softball to coach the Knoxville News Sentinel team in the Rocky Top League.

The usual cycle of shame in American sports is 1) you miss a season, 2) you do a TV gig for awhile, 3) you start with a low-profile backwater job, and if successful, 4) you're finally considered rehabilitated enough for a real job. If you're successful then, then the cycle is completed with 5) a soft-focus redemption profile on SportsCenter conducted by somebody like Jeremy Schaap.

Pearl has all the skills to be the greatest agent of all time. An ability to lie. A knack for throwing parties the NCAA frowns on. Charisma in the style of a circus ringmaster. An ability to rat out opponents for his own gain.

he'll be back in coaching after a year or two---hopefully, not with a team that UT has to play in the NCAA tournament. Pearl will be looking for bigtime revenge after getting fired by the moron hamilton.

Didn't specify a college gig. NBA is an interesting thought, as is TV. Just a discussion simulator.

Pearl isn't getting a D1 job for quite some time. IF he ever gets one again.

Absolutely ZERO chance he gets one this year.
