This is true...and I am proud of the way Joe played yesterday. He had a good game. That said, he has overthrown a WR running wide open for a TD at least once in nearly every game this season. Some games twice. We got really spoiled last season when Hooker put up 38TDS with 3INT in only 10.5 games. Hendon had the best season ever by a UT passer, and too many folks here have come to expect the same from Joe. In truth, Joe has statistically had a good season and should have everyones support. Hooker set the bar insanely high last season....for those expecting that every season: you're gonna be disappointed. I do think that Nico and those who come after will put up big numbers and lots of points in CJHs offense though. GO VOLS
Show us all those overthrown tds….I count 2

Stats: aTm 33 sacks
Alabama 29 sacks
UGA 16 sacks (two less than Vandy)

There is no statistical evidence at this point to fear UGA's pass rush.

Agree on WR's. They have to run better routes and go after jump balls.
And I noted that we said that last year and they had a field day. Statistically they were near the bottom of the SEC in sacks and the Tenn game they went off for several and piled on the pressure IIRC.

I was also thinking about this. What if we had never had Hendon or the 2022 season? Sitting at 6-2, looking easily at 7-2...possibly 9-3 or 10-2 season with Milton and the current players, we'd be thrilled. Yeah, prolly should've beat UF but I think Milton hate would be wayyy toned down. Other SEC fans I've talked to don't understand why he's getting so much heat from his own fans. It makes no sense. He's 8-2 as a starter, 23 TDs and 4 picks.
