It wasn’t touched. Chase started his approach too early, had a stutter step and hit too much of the fat part of the ball. Lucky it got high enough but wasn’t deflected
I still think 47 touched it. It’s spinning end over end like normal then changes flight pattern at his hands.

That ball would not have made it from one yard further.

That being said, he didn’t have to kick it one yard further.

That was probably the most nervous McGrath has ever been in his life. That wobbler was the perfect way to end this game.

On the replay looking back at McGrath it appears to me it was slightly deflected. That is the only time I have seen that angle so far.

If you watch it in slo mo you can see #47's fingers flip as he touches the ball

Totally agree. Didn’t notice it last night, but when I rewatched it today my son, who we call eagle eye, brought that to our attention. After I told my wife it was an ugly kick, my son said that’s because it was partially blocked. Sure enough rewinding it a few times it sure looks like he got his fingertips on it.
