I have not stopped laughing for 5 minutes now. That is the greatest turn of events I have ever seen on this board.

Chad Johnson needs to add the "Flea Market/Mini Mall" to his arsenal of touchdown dances.

Interestingly, I have a friend who is considering a move to the Fayetteville area. He says it has some real positives. Me? I haven't seen anything in Arkansas to impress. But, I haven't visited the NW.

He'll like it.

Hate to say it but Fayetteville is a nice town. Lots of good people there...even if they are UA fans.

Wherever Chavis goes I wish him the best, people are quick to put him down for his defenses which makes me question their expertise on football in general. Charlie Strong seems to be the DC people feel is the best and he is good but TN defense is currently ranked 6th while FL is ranked 8th in the country. Chavis and his assistant coaches have been the most consistent aspect of our program the past 15 years. Without our D we would be 0-11 this year.

True dat.

UT's D is no mini mall but it has been our strength, except on 3rd downs.

I don't remember Chavis using the Prevent late in games early in his career as DC. I wonder if that changed as the offense became less effective - to keep from getting burned late when the offense didn't have quick-strike capabilities.

Gotta run... off to Montgomery for a new dinette set.

NW Ark is very, very nice. Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville are great places. Corp headquarters of Tyson and Wal-mart are there so they must have something going on.

You figure they would move from there by now. I guess though they like being the redneck shopping king though. I know that to be a fact. I shop there and I am pretty redneck. :)

Montgomery, AL has to be the worst city in the south. North Arkansas is pretty cool if you like the outdoors, hunting, and the lake.

I agree with that 100%, a close second is Alexandria, LA.

Worst "cities" I've been to is Peroria, IL and Scottsbluff, NE.

Apologies to anyone from the cities mentioned above. :ermm:

I can say that there is at least one thing I would like to do in Montgomery, the Hank Williams' New Year's Memorial.

I lived in Alec for four years. Nice neighbors BUT why would anyone want to live in Louisiana? Nothing is appealing about that state.

Just want to know why you hate Peoria IL?

I think it is a pretty decent town now, a lot better than 20 years ago. But it is starting to become a mini Chicago.

That's what the people on the Arky boards are hearing.
Him and an assistant? They say Petrino interviewed Caldwell last year so its probably him.

And FWIW, they are excited.

Per the Clemson boards, they are very interested in Chavis.
