The butthurt was so high on their board over this picture that the site admin posted his open letter to Saturday down south which was something along the lines of we are a smarty pants school with strict enrollment and the same people that are out hunting squirrels go to them UT games etc etc. But basically it read as I look down my nose at you unedumacated vawl fans but this response makes me look like a child and by the way I didn't even go to Vandy.

The administrator of VandyMania is Don Yates and you're right. He is a graduate of Austin Peay. He is always quick to cite Vandy's academics and an incredibly sensitive man. One of their fans started a thread with the title "Vandy will win the SEC East" and a Vol fan replied "LOL" and was banned just for that.

I've been banned 4 times. I used to pretend I was a Vandy fan but I could only take it so long and I'd break then immediately got banned.

I haven't been banned quite yet... But it's difficult playing devils advocate over there without giving up I'm actually a Vols fan.

I get not letting people troll but he lets Vandy fans say all kind of garbage about UT and UT fans (and other teams and their fans) that more than violates his own terms; but then bans any opposing fan the minute they try to defend their team or says anything negative against Vandy.

He banned me the first time when I challenged a guy who was posting outright falsehoods about UT and I even posted links proving him wrong. Yates banned me, deleted my post yet let the original post stay and it turned into the usual bash UT circle jerk.

You do have to wonder if the train that showed up at his momma's door was wearing Tennessee orange or what. I get little brother syndrome, but it's freaking extreme over there.

A lot of people wondered (when the game was cancelled) why the heck Miami had a game at Arkansas State.

The joke was that....they wanted to play in front of a big crowd.

I have been in Florida for 10 years, I do a lot of work in Miami, and I have known one Miami fan... and she's from friggin Murfreesboro. lol:

SEC Country ranked Vandy 11 in the SEC after week 2, and I believe they ranked UT 6 which is middle of the pack average. I guess the wins against powerhouses MTSU and Alabama A&M didn't impress the random guy at SEC Country making his ranking. This prompted some objective replies about this year's team and season such as the screenshot below. Seems to have struck a nerve.
