Some traditions make sense and others do not. Wisdom is Being able to tell the difference. As far as alternate uniforms go, they probably help recruiting and motivate the players so why not, as long as they don’t become the rule. Let me rephrase...Bama was favored by 2-3 possessions. According to the poster I was responding to, if it's two or more possessions, you can't call it a rivalry.
Cherry pick much? Bama is a rival. That was the whole point. KY is not considered a rival by most UT fans nor by the AD. Were they considered a rival, or a marquee game, the team would wear traditional colors. This game is neither. Bama was.
Both are rivals. Despite both meeting your standard of a 2 possession spread.
