I know where you can get black hoodies or tshirts with "AlcoVolic" on the front in true Tennessee orange. $20 for Tshirts and $40 for hoodies. DM me for details if anyone is interested.

Welcome aboard...Huckster!

In today's world, then there will be a hit piece calling the entire Tennessee fanbase racist for cheering in black face. Agreed, bad idea. Sorry if that is too political, but it's the truth.
I don't think it is political to say black face is racist.

So, leather helmets and only White players?? IT wore black jerseys in the early 1900s.
Some traditions make sense and others do not. Wisdom is Being able to tell the difference. As far as alternate uniforms go, they probably help recruiting and motivate the players so why not, as long as they don’t become the rule. I think the current 2x a season works really well

No they weren't. Alabama was favored by 9 points.

Let me rephrase...Bama was favored by 2-3 possessions. According to the poster I was responding to, if it's two or more possessions, you can't call it a rivalry.

Cherry pick much? Bama is a rival. That was the whole point. KY is not considered a rival by most UT fans nor by the AD. Were they considered a rival, or a marquee game, the team would wear traditional colors. This game is neither. Bama was.

Both are rivals. Despite both meeting your standard of a 2 possession spread.

Spread has nothing to do with Bama being a rival or marquee game. You are welcome to consider anyone you wish a rival. The school itself doesn’t consider KY a rival (they even put it in writing this week), and I agree with them. If KY came in ranked and with a tight point spread, it would meet the “marquee” definition. A team can be both a rival and a marquee matchup. A team can be one or the other. This season KY is neither. Words mean things.

That doesn’t mean KY couldn’t come to Neyland and win, and it doesn’t mean the game isn’t important.
