AF frustrating WSU with long drives, excellent line play & hard hitting. Then, Cougars close the gap to 17-14 with a quick TD drive.

Great stand by AF to keep WSU out of the end zone. 24-14 Falcons with 13 minutes remaining.

I'm pretty sure he didn't mean he didn't know.

It's a dumb question to ask if you are expecting a detailed answer. Typically you get "we have to make some tackles" (duh) or "we need to make some adjustments" (duh) or "we just need to keep playing hard" (duh).

There is no sound bite answer to the question.

I know there’s a better answer than “I don’t know”.

Why not just say we’re playing fat, lazy, and uninspired? Your players take on the mentality you carry.
