Until these cretins start getting hard time or the electric chair this will continue. The left has further created an environment where the police is the enemy enabling these criminals. It's not going to stop until their loved ones are the victims. I don't see how anyone would want to work as a police officer for Lightfoot or anyone like her around the country - in Portland: Seattle, Minneapolis, NYC, LA, Atlanta, Baltimore, etc. Some of the worst political climates. You have to clean up these cities and be willing to profile and stop crime before it happens with gangs linking them to conspiracy.

You have to wonder how long it takes, but if these bozos are trying to solve the wrong problem then it's just political theatre.

Meanwhile, city Alderman Anthony Napolitano, a former city cop and firefighter, said he didn’t believe Democrat Lightfoot was entirely anti-police — but that progressive politics are to blame.

“I never saw her as an anti-police advocate. But I will put this 550 percent on these socialists and these progressives in the city council. This blood is on their hands, without a doubt,” Napolitano told the Sun-Times.

67-Year-Old Grandmother Shot, Killed on Chicago Expressway

A 67-year-old grandmother who worked as a special education teacher for 24 years was shot and killed on an expressway Tuesday night in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

ABC 7 reported that Denise M. Huguelet was traveling on the Dan Ryan Expressway with her husband shortly after 10 p.m. and was struck by a bullet as occupants of two other cars shot at each other.

An Illinois State Trooper heard the gunfire and gave chase to the alleged shooter. A police helicopter joined the chase and law enforcement ultimately apprehended two suspects and recovered a firearm.
