And…what is “briefly transited?” Does that mean Alaska to South Carolina??

My comment was in reference to civilians on the ground trying to shoot down a balloon at 60k feet.

It's an interesting allegation with no proof offered. Comes across as nothing more than a diversionary tactic. But if it did happen, it was a breach of national security that should have been handled by shooting them down. And I'm not defending Trump, I don't want to see that prick back in office, but this just screams of political propaganda by the left. If it happened under Trump, give us details from more than "unnamed sources".

Also, if it happened under Trump, then this was an obvious escalation and a deliberate provocative act. Once might be an accident. Doubtful, but possible. But continuously violating our airspace with spy balloons?

Lol...this stuff be such a manufactured lie. But once again the base peddles it as fact for the slacked jawwed. No one just so happened to see it during those years. Apparently it started with Trump but we know you didn't see these balloons but take our word for it says the source.

That does make it worse. The only core values a person with an average IQ sees in Joseph Stalinette Biden is that he appears to have none. No basic belief system or redeeming creed he relies on in times of moral and ethical introspection.

We know a lot more this morning and as is so often the case the actual facts destroy the GOP narrative. In a nutshell:

- this has happened before, though not for this length of time. Congress has actually been briefed on this in the past.

- when it became clear this one was staying for so long Biden ordered it shot down.

- the military decided the when component of this.

Am I the only one that thinks Trump would have welcomed the opportunity to blast something Chinese from the sky? I think if this were true about 3 balloons, Trump was unaware, because those who did know thought trump would start WWIII, and the unidentified source should be in trouble
