The backstory had everything to do with his treatment of her, no? Maybe I should watch it again, but I remember it as Janine trying to conduct your normal run-of-the-mill halftime interview, and Gillispie rather conspicuously going out of his way to be a dick.

Yes, I thought Chip Kelly came across as a douche in his half-time and post game interviews during the Cal game.

Meh, Oregon fans are used to Kelly's abrasive interviews. He often gives 1-word answers to questions. It's his style. Kelly is endeared to Oregon fans because we see him much more extensively than his halftime/post-game interviews. If you want to truly judge his character, you can go to practice and talk to him yourself. That's the kind of guy he is.

Kelly is not a douche like Kiffin was when he was at Tennessee, he's no snake-oil salesman.
