One of my earliest childhood memories was getting ready for school early in the morning & watching Gilligans Island & ChiPs reruns. I loved eating my cheerios while watching those.... It looks like someone just pissed in my cheerios...

Wasnt CHIPS a little more serious as a show? That just looked dumb.

Damn,I was hoping for a sausage party style movie, but with chips....... the more I think about that,the more I want to see that movie.

Yeah the original series tried to be serious, but it was so damn cheesy no one took it seriously

As an 80s kid, I couldn't stand this show. The intro song and subject matter always reeled me in but I couldn't make it more than 5 minutes into any episode.

Really? Was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I'm 40 though

I'm 35. Not a huge age difference, but when you were watching CHiPs, I bet there were like 5 other shows on. When I was watching re-runs, there were like 30 other shows on. Cable TV changed everything.

I love Chips growing up. It was one of my favorite shows along with dukes of hazzard. I can't believe how they are butchering this. This might be a good/funny movie in it's own right, but has NO business being marketed as Chips.

Just shows that yet again nobody in Hollywood has any original ideas any more. Seems like they're gonna try to turn every show from the 70s and 80s into a cheesy movie.

There have been a couple of cheesey 70s/80s dramas turned into tongue in cheek comedy movies. The amount of crotch jokes in this one was a bit much.

This looks like a steaming pile of excrement! Once again they take semi-serious television shows and turn them into potty-joke comedies!

On the other hand the Baywatch film with the Rock while also turned into a comedy looks half way decent!

The best part of CHiPs was the last 15 minutes of each show when you'd have some inattentive driver cause a massive, 1000 car pileup that kills no one.

I'm gonna predict that this movie in't be half as bad as people here seem to think. It will have a brisk pace and it will have some good laughs. I could listen to Michael Pena read the dictionary, dude is funny.

70s kids here hold the original show in such high esteem that they think this movie could ruin its legacy...sorry to kill a sacred cow, but I'm not the only one who didn't like CHiPs. 6.4 on IMDb is a **** rating.
