I'm gonna predict that this movie in't be half as bad as people here seem to think. It will have a brisk pace and it will have some good laughs. I could listen to Michael Pena read the dictionary, dude is funny.

70s kids here hold the original show in such high esteem that they think this movie could ruin its legacy...sorry to kill a sacred cow, but I'm not the only one who didn't like CHiPs. 6.4 on IMDb is a **** rating.

I'm a 70's kid and while I confess a certain fondness for the tv show, I'm ambivalent at the prospect of a big screen version.

I'd much rather see "Space:1999" get a big screen revival.

Fwiw, Michelle Pfeiffer got her start in acting in a 1979 episode of CHiPs... She is now 58 and still hot.
