"But he's a legitimate 6-9, evenly proportioned competitor. He played very well today."

That strong performance might not send Chism's stock soaring just yet, but it clearly didn't hurt a player who's still no lock to get selected in the NBA draft on June 24 in New York.

Chism was one of six players brought in for the morning session by the Bucks, and he held his own against Oklahoma's Tiny Gallon and North Carolina's Deon Thompson during workouts inside with the forwards.

If big baby Glen Davis can be a solid role player in the NBA, no reason Chism can't be.

I'd like to see Wayne go to the Warriors. Nelson's fast paced offense is similar to what Bruce does

Two places that I would like to see him go is Phoenix or Orlando. He can run with the Suns, or grind it out with the Magic. Also, shooting the outside shot can help with the Magic in their style.

Sure there are plenty more, but I don't keep up with the NBA like I used to.

Do you all feel like it would be better for him to not be drafted? Then he could pick what team he wants to go to as a FA?

If he's drafted, he gets that moe-nay!

All things considered, he really needs to make himself look as talented as possible right now.

I think it's worth it if he gets drafted...if only just so he hears his name get called.

This!

The Suns are my team and I would love to see him play a couple seasons with Nash and develop with Dragic.

Umm no. He can make as much if not more than he could as a 2nd round pick. Those guys don't make moe-nay. Most get between 425-800k, which is exactly what he could get as a free agent.

Many 2nd round picks don't even make the 12 man roster.

My bad, thought differently. I always figured if you dont get drafted, your paycheck would be substantially smaller.

Most people would consider $425M a year to be moe-nay, fwiw.

Most people aren't NBA players lol. I agree, to me thats moe-nay, but 2nd round picks don't make much (when it comes to nba salaries) if they even make the team.

Here's the first round rookie pay scale.

NBA Rookie Salary Scale 2008 | NBA Rookie Salaries | NBA Rookie Salaries 2008

So as you can see, the first pick in the 2nd round will make less than 795k. CJ Watson's first contract was for 825k, so being a free agent does have its advantages.

If he gets drafted by a team with a ton of PF's on the roster he's not going to make the team anyway, but as a FA he can workout for teams with a need at his position.

That doesn't make sense. A team with a ton of PFs isn't going to draft him in the first place because they don't need him. If he gets drafted, it will be by a team that actually needs a PF.
