Did the people that live and work in CHOP get a vote in becoming part of this mess? If they spoke out against it they were threatened or worse. This was a commie pipe dream that ran smack into the reality of how an organized society functions. So their only recourse to achieve the dream was threats of violence to the non believers. No one with a functioning brain can rationalize the idiocy of the CHOP.

If two unarmed teens were murdered, the murderers should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
The same as with the other hundreds of murders that happened throughout the country during the same time frame.
12 buildings damaged? That's obviously not good, but there were buildings damaged in other cities.....also not good.
My point is only that it is not, nor was it ever, the story the right wing media so desperately tried to make it.

I will say this, the only reason these people do stupid stuff like this is because of the attention the media gives it. These were mostly spoiled ass whiney white kids

So exhibiting the Marxist cycle isn't anything?
A bunch of screaming people oust the government, pillage what the capitalist left behind, think they have a utopia until the homeless people eat all the food, then they start to extort so they can get necessities from outsider, then they have to have armed security to keep the people in/out even killing a few to let people know they are serious (or because they are just evil and take advantage of the opportunity) then after the place is trashed they move on. Now it might take longer than 5 weeks for the entire US but we've witnessed it in a microcosm.

Except that if this spurned a bunch of other autonomous zones and what started as 6 blocks turned into 60,000 and the same issues occurred in the other zones. How did this zone do anything but add to the divisiveness?
