Get off your high horse first of all and dont ever tell me what I did or didnt read. Why dont you double check what I said. I wanted the "why", and "how" of this story to determine the cause of it's escalation. I'm in no way denying her obvious damages due to apparent physical abuse.

So, if your "google" is better than my "google", I'd be happy to hear "why" this happened, and "what" was said to cause such an act on his part.

You can get back to me after that. I'll be at, Ireallycouldgiveadamnlesswhatyouthinkofmydisgustingpost.com

Is that why you replied to him?

You're only hearing one side of the story. We don't know what prompted him to lay hands on her. For all we know, she could have said something to spark it or did something (like given him herpes/STD).

Very easy to sit back and just judge the man without knowing all of the facts. This is America, innocent until proven guilty.

The STD rumor is false. There is just no excuse for beating the shi* out of a woman.

No excuse? You can't think of any reason why a woman may need a beating?

Interesting?

I'm sure if you put on your Devil's Advocate cap you could certainly think of at least 3 reasons...

Well yeah some things would really tempt me to slap a ho, but I have never been able to go through with it. Did you see that pic of her?

This has gotta be drug related. He does a line, she does hers, he just wants key bump, but she got too much, they argue, and he beats her up. Seen it all before. Could also explain why she didn't go to the police. Silly kids.

So if you haven't heard here's a update that just came out..

"Chris Brown was charged with two felonies Thursday in connection to his Feb. 8 altercation with Rihanna.
He is facing assault by means likely to create great bodily injury and criminal threats.
If convicted, he faces four years and eight months in state prison.
He will be arraigned today at 3:30 p.m."

So basically Chris Brown wont do a day in jail because heaven forbid it conflict with his comeback tour, also some other details were released about the night itself.

police report
"Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown's phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn't because she was wearing her seat belt.

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving. Blood spattered all over Rihanna's clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood.

Brown allegedly told Rihanna, "I'm going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see."

Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there."

Brown then replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you."

According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock -- she almost lost consciousness."

Not condoning any of it by any means, but I'd be willing to bet he was well provoked. I hope that gets as much publicity as his hitting her "elegedly". While there is never an excuse for physical abuse, sometimes the events that lead up to these events are disregarded as unimportant details. I'd wait for the "whole" story, and remember, this is Hollywood we are talking about.
What are your thoughts now?

Her comments a few months later indicate that she did some things that did provoke it. So we were both right. There is a quick run to judgement by everyone when it comes to violence against women... even by men. We fall prey to the assumption that women are just the innocent angels in all of these cases.

Like I said, there are two sides to every story...
