No, more like that it looks like his odds of a major coronary event in the next year seems about 80 percent.
You must be his personal physician...
I think plenty could have made the argument in 2008 that an African-America POTUS had pretty low odds of making it through his first year as President, nevermind a full-term. Yet, citizens voted for Obama because they felt like he was the best available candidate (and, against John McCain he really was...unfortunately).
Weak.
Overall, you guys are dreaming if you think it wouldn't matter.
I'd agree its a very minor factor if he were the VP nominee. But if he wants to run in 2016, he needs to do something drastic, imo.
Do not change my argument. I never said it would not matter; I am saying that it should not matter. You are trying to argue that it should by bringing up his health and his "80% odds of a massive coronary".
Bottom line is that what the POTUS looks like should not matter in any way, shape, or form.
Ah, okay. Then allow me also to clarify.
1) Assuming he is running for VP,
a) I think it should matter. If I had to pin a number to it, I'd say it should matter maybe 5 %.
b) I think it would matter, and more than that. Maybe something like 20 %.
2) If he were running for POTUS,
a) I think it should matter. I'd say 75 %.
b) I think it would matter. Probably 95 %.
