Chris Jones Early Enrollment?

I'm very ignorant about the rules regarding whether coaches can comment about the academic status of committed recruits. Does anyone know whether Bruce can comment publicly about the Jones eligibility and reclassification (right word?) to the 2010 class matter, or can another member of the staff give an update?

They can not comment and he did not reclassify as a 2010. He is still a 2011 with a very distant shot of being able to make in the 2010 class.

Now that Selby has officially moved on, maybe Jones has more incentive to graduate early?

However, I've heard the chances of this actually happening are slim-to-none.

Back when I first heard about the kid, I heard he may have trouble even qualifying.

Jones seems to really be an excellent player. I heard he is an offensive force. With him Golden, Ware, Cam, and possibly Scotty for 2011-2012 that is an impressive backcourt.

I really doubt Scotty will stick around next year regardless of how he plays.

It would be best for him if there is a lock-out. He needs all the work he can get prior to trying for the NBA.
