CJ should give him work. I like that CJ plays hard on both ends of the floor., whereas I see Joe Jackson take possessions off at times. He will be a great guard for us.

Chris Jones scored 35 points 8-14 FG's & 18-19 FT's...

His team the Melrose Golden Wildcats beat Whites Station for the Class AAA State Championship tonight 75-70....

Joe Jackson, who is going to Memphis, scored 22 for the Spartans....

He scored 33, 22 & 35 points in his three games in the tournament....

Just watched the Second Half of the 3A State Championship Game. Chris Jones, Adonis Thomas and Melrose beat Joe Jackson and White Station 75-70. Jones is an absolute animal, he scored 35 and is a good passer and better shooter. He makes Free Throws and Threes from the point guard position. No way this kid anything less than a 5-star if he gets his act together in the classroom. He outplayed Jackson tonight and his game fits perfectly into TennesseeÂ’s style. It got me very pumped about the future.

I watched the 2nd half of this game as well,and this cat is for real. Hope he stays with us, he is special, and was easily the best player on the floor tonight.

I haven't seen free throw shooting that smooth in quite a while. He played a great game. The only knock for his game tonight was 0 assists. Kinda wierd for a PG, but I guess when you get to the rim at will you don't really need to pass.

I still laugh at the Memphis beat writer Dan Wolken who said about a month ago on his radio show that Jones was not in Jackson's league.

I heard today that Chris Jones is going to summer school and try to graduate and enroll at UT during the Fall. He's a 19 yr old junior.

Yeh I was thinkin the same thing. He's good, but dude said it like he is Lebron or something. Best HS player I've seen is Lebron btw. I saw Chris Lofton his sr year. 10,000 people were at that game!! Wow

I never saw Lebron play in person, nor Chris Lofton. So therefore he is the best player I've ever seen in person.

He will start from day one here. CAVol, he is also the best highschool player i have ever seen.
