Cops: Former Gator QB, Edgewater coach subject of sexual assault investigation - Orlando Sentinel


The alleged incident on Sept. 5 was reported Monday. It reportedly occurred on Sept. 5 in the athletic trainer office near the football field, according to an investigative report.

Leak allegedly asked the girl to give him a massage. He came out from the shower wearing only a towel, the report said.

The girl told detectives that she massaged his back legs and he asked her to massage the front of his legs, the report said.

According to the report, the girl told detectives Leak then pulled her hands up to touch his genitals.

She told police her hand grazed his genitals a few times, according to the report.

The girl then left.

He called her and eventually bought the girl some food before taking her home, the report said.

She later told a friend and Leak gave the friend $100, according to the report.

Police said the girl was "very upset" while describing the incident.

That's just the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What a complete moron if true. It was like he was trying to create a porno in his mind.

As horrific as the incident as described was, his "coaching" career should have never been started. Edgewater looked like a bad sandlot team. While they don't have a lot of talent, the kids were not being coached at all. I have seen many youth league teams that had much better coaching.

If the Edgewater DC has any coaching ability, the team will improve immediately.

I'm not condoning what occurred with Silvan, but there's more to that story than you obviously know about. Trying to compare that situation to what Leak has been accused of doing? :jpshakehead:

Some grown men make mind boggling stupid decisions regardless of where they went to school.

Chris Leak was the worst WR coach UF's had in 25 years.

I haven't seen Edgewater play this season, but I would tend to agree with your assessment based on Leak's track record as a coach.

True. This is a disgusting situation and no one on here should be taking pleasure that its a former Gator. If he's guilty I hope this POS rots in jail and gets what's coming to him. Same for our former player Crowder. Being a pedophile has nothing to do with school affiliation. Kids must be protected from these creeps at all costs!
