I'm pretty surprised he's even getting a shot, but hitting an outrageous number of 3's in one game (17) will open people's eyes a little.

Lofton is an amazing shooter. He seemed to shoot better with a guy all over him than a wide open look. I'd love to see him make any NBA team, but as Hat mentioned above, he would get burned, repeatedly, on the defensive end of the floor. I'm not sure many teams are going to pay millions for that.

Interesting little nugget from a Celtics forum, "Lofton, the former Southeastern Conference Player of the Year (2007) from Tennessee, set an Orlando Pro Summer League record for most 3-pointers made (15 of 25), despite averaging just 16 minutes in reserve for the Boston Celtics."

These fans seem to be very favorable of Lofton and feel he will definitely make the training camp roster. One poster even called him a young Eddie House.

hopefully he'll make the training camp roster but who knows?? If not he can go back overseas and hit 18 3's and break his own record :) :) :)

There has to be at least one team who can use a guy who will can 3s with defenders draped all over him.

The moment that will always stand out to me is his sophmore year when he made the game winning 3 in the ncaa tour. in the frist round he was behind the backboard

But he's so bad... And I think he's just taller. Not more athletic.

My first post... Gotta say after the numbers he put up over in Turkey this year I'm half expecting him to get an NBA gig. The Celtics could make some sense. Honestly I don't know what Eddie House brings to the table that Lofton couldn't at this point.

Some kind of athletic ability. Chris Lofton is on par shooting but is less athletic and is simply not athletic enough to play defense in the NBA. We all understand that he can score but if you are going to give up more points then you score then you arent going to play. Simple as that
