I assume they were, but like I said, Lowe has connections around here. And Chris Lowe ain't sitting on

I dot blame the media at all. Just wondering what it is about the dynamic that both sides couldn't keep the news under wraps for a few days.

Go to espn.com and click the link on the story. It has video of Low on air saying that basically he couldn't see it going any other way. FWIW.

He would if he was at risk of losing those connections. If he is indeed saying this, you better believe he has permission from his sources.

Not being able to see it any other way is completely different than reporting that Pearl is out at UT.

In today's media, it's so hard to keep things under wrap. Look at Tressel. It's amazing something didn't come out till that morning of the press conference.

I wish it was until we were done with the tourney, but alas, they weren't going to do much IMO. It is what it is.

Guess it hasn't been timing in the past, but different problems related to the handling of coaching changes. Definitely timing this time. I just spoke too quickly, I guess.

If he actually said Pearl is definitely out at the conclusion of the season, then he didn't jump the gun. If Low said that he just thought that's what would happen, then he's clearly jumped the gun.

I mean anyone could come to the conclusion that Pearl is out after hearing Hammy's comments, hell half of VN was all over it. Now, people are claiming Chris Low reported it with nothing other than hear say...

As we know Bruce kicked all of these players off the team for a variety of things (and of course each one of them deserved and should have been kicked off). Time for the University to "kick" Pearl out/off of this university.
