I think he's going to one of the final candidates when it's all said and done. Winning against our arch rival in basketball is always good, especially in the tourney. Now with Louisville out of the tournament, he's got a great shot at the sweet 16.

In my mind, he'd be a great coach here. He's recruited well at Richmond, and in not such an easy conference (the A-10). He's a young guy also, and would bring excitement to the program. I think he'd be a perfect fit here.

I'll be watching the Richmond Spiders carefully.

Since when was Vandy our archrival in basketball?

Otherwise, agreed 100%. Will be very interesting to watch what happens in the next few weeks.

The term "arch rival" is just funny in general...

But I'll give the OP credit, it's Vandy and UK.

Media from Bama- saying it is a done deal. Pearl out Buzz Williams in. I do not know how media in Bama could know anything about Vols.

If it's true are you ready for Buzz Ball 2.0!!!!

Certain media in Knoxville had Lovie Smith as the Vols football coach last year.If they had a deal with a coach already, I would doubt it would be Williams but who knows. My days of being surprised by UT's decision makers ended when Derek Dooley was named coach. Not that I dislike him, but I was stunned.

I support CDD, but I thought I was on Candid Camera when I saw he was named head coach.

I don't exactly agree with your reasoning, but I agree he is a good candidate for the job.

Mooney has recruited some athletic kids. They definitely beat Vandy vertically.

If Larry is indeed saying it, then you can pretty much take it to the bank. But I havent seen where Larry has actually said something about it.
