MSU should JUMP on Terry Bowden. He wants to coach again and would energize that program.

Tubberville would be good there as well. Wow.....if he gets the job, he would have coached at 1/4 of the SEC schools. 20 more yrs ...he might be at Bama!!!!

This is a good hire. Not saying he will turn Miss St. in to a power house, but it is not a step down for him to join the elite ranks of SEC coaches.

Against the Hawaii's and Idaho's of the world. Yes.

And Oklahoma. ;)

Don't get me wrong. I think he's a good coach. I just can't see Mississippi State as a step up. The only guys to win there since integration have landed the program in the NCAA slammer. And now the SEC is tougher than ever.

Fulmer openly begged for the Clemson job. Shut down by a guy named Dabo. He said he's a "football coach". I was just putting them together. Speculation: Very Much so, Fact: In no way.

I'm pretty sure Fulmer would pick up the phone is Miss. State came calling.

Do you think Fulmer has worth on the market?

Not at a big time program. No.

Fulmer just lost the best job he will ever have, IMO. As soon as he realizes he is not so marketable, he will take a position of some capacity at UT. I also heard he was interested in Clemson, but they were not interested in him.

Not to even mention that he'll be lucky to get recruits away from Ole Miss, much less against the big fish of the SEC.

The Mississippi religious community is going to love this. What is he going to say to a recruit from a poor family where the most important thing is their faith in God?
