Eh, it was in the Titans thread, but why not?

I will repeat what I said in that thread with some pics added.

Someone who went to the University of Texas who likes weed? I, for one, am stunned.

I wonder if the Titans have a personal bail bonding guy who is on the payroll and has an office at the Titans complex?

Yep, same guy that saved Marvin Harrison, some scrub first year player, your starting defensive tackle a couple of years ago, and Dominic Rhodes' collective asses.

Oh yeah, forgot about Keith. Hell, a couple of years ago you might as well have dressed the Colts backfield in orange jumpsuits.

In the police reports. Nice going Mr. Simms. You can now join the ranks of Ricky and Vince to name just a few.

Just doing my part to spread the disdain for those damn dirty hippies in the 40acres.
Tuck fexas.
Now.
Forever.

Allegedly smoking weed when they found nothing in the car except his family? That's pretty weak...

It made the news. Speculation usually turns into factual evidence with Mack's products. If you choose to join the t-shirt fan club, they'll be having a convention at the walmart parking lot in austin. Bring your own weed.

You must be oblivious to the fact that most every major college football team has multiple players on it that smoke weed...

An A&M fan on a Tennessee board mocking their main rival over a former player getting in trouble after said rival has recently woodshedded them is quite funny and eerily ironic.

He was getting cut before the preseason even started; there was no way the team would keep 4 QBs on after drafting Rusty. All this probably did was speed it up

move to NFL forum

edit: also while we're on it, it turned out Derrick Morgan's thing was the notices that his license was suspended (from an unpaid ticket 5 months prior) were sent to an old address, so he never got the word. It's still his fault by law for not checking on his own, but still

People think that it'll be Kerry Collins that gets cut because he's making so much money as a backup QB, but they're gonna be surprised when Fisher not only keeps him on the team but doesn't even force him to restructure.

I'm no KC fan, but I'd rather have him backing up VY than Simms. VY has never played a full season, so odds are that the #2 QB will see the field next season. KC has much more experience in 'Dinger's system and with the others players on offense. They'll swallow the bitter pill and pay Collins because he's a more valuable insurance policy for them than Simms, especially if they're in the hunt for a Wildcard spot at the time.

Also, good news about Morgan. That's the situation I was hoping for.

Right, it was pretty much:

Collins was still going to be here. Simms had the uphill battle to make the team (which this should get him cut by roster trimmings)

The bigger worry about Morgan currently actually is that he's been hindered by a few injuries in camp...similar to the way Jared Cook was last offseason
