I think the article said he has tourettes syndrome and that could be the reason for bad grades. It is very debilitating socially. Uncontrollable tics, saying things that are disruptive and so on. I went to a workshop where someone with it spoke and it was painful to watch him struggle. He was very smart though. The medication now is great though and if that is the case with this guy he will be fine. I would not know about the right classes and test scores though to get in school but just my 2 cents worth...I hope the best for him! :hi:

Is this kid still on the team? I don't see him on the roster, unless he goes by another name. There is a Doug Smith on the roster but that doesn't look like him in the picture of the seniors on the team site. I know several guys going down to the game tonight when they play Science Hill and I was going to give them some info on him so they could check him out.

Aren't the requirements to get in school lowered in cases like this? I don't work in the admissions office, but it seems like all these namby pamby liberals would have a federal law for this.
