THIS IS A VERY, VERY BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS TREE! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!


This is a CHRISTMAS TREE.

It is not a Hanukkah bush,
it is not an Allah plant,
it is not a Holiday hedge,
it is not a Holiday tree,

It is a CHRISTMAS TREE.

To me that just sounds wonderful and magical ...

I was having a good time flirting with this chick at Kay Jewelers today...then the exchange was kinda gay after she said Happy Holidays...but that's okay I still said Merry Christmas and she may have not meant anything weird by it.....

Christmas to me is spending time w/ ur friends and family and those you love....and also celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Seeing my friends happy and together all at the same time is my favorite thing about Christmas.

I have no problem with the other religous holidays , but the Christmas tree is part of the Christmas tradition.

My wife's company "Christmas Cards" are not allowed to say Christmas on them. They have to read "Happy Holidays" as not to offend anyone. There is a war on X-mas from the left. Don't kid yourself. It is a shame.

"The Left" convinced the company to exclude Christmas? A good number of Christmas cards have been saying "Happy Holidays" and "Season's Greetings" as long as I can remember, which is a long time. The only "war" on the matter was the one launched this fall by......Jerry Falwell, that stalwart of The Left.

While I don't think that we should have problems with Merry Christmas, I don't see what the big deal is either. Why doesn't everyone just call it what they want and move on with life?

Whoever selects Mods for VN surely did a good job. It's been my observation in my short life on here that you and the Admin and other Mods are right about 99 percent of the time. Which is to say, I agree with you about 99 percent of the time. :rock:

They print cards with "Happy Holidays" on them because, believe it or not, there are other Holidays going on during the season. Jesus himself observed Hanukkah (John 10:22-23).

I'll stop now. Just wanted to get the point out. Its been said and anymore would be beating a dead horse. Having said that, I do wish all in Volnation and our soldiers serving around the world and in harms way a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I can't believe anybody out there is actually getting upset by the phrase "happy holidays"

I HATE politics in this country... It seems like more than half of everybody has to align themselves with one side or the other, and bicker with whoever doesn't agree with the side they've taken. I can't even believe it's gotten down to the level of semantics. Damn.

Well, here's hoping that all forms of cable news and any other fuel of the American political cockfight are violently destroyed.

People should call the Holidays what they want. I call it Happy Increased Suicide Rates.

and politics in this country do make 3 year olds arguing over pokeyman seem intellectual.
