Cincinnati Vols

Forgot about the casino. They usually have concerts every week too, but I haven't heard of any for next week.

Agreed. Their BBQ sauce is pretty damn good. One of my favorite places in Cincy.

I think it's pretty good on the Coneys, but awful when it's in a 3-way (on spaghetti, topped with cheese).

Just went by Montgomery Inn, it was very good. Worth the trip.

They have recently put a lot of effort into making downtown nice. If you cant get tickets to a reds game (Shouldnt be an issue) go down to the banks next to the ballpark. Completely redone and tons of bars and restaurants. The Holy Grail is a good one and there's a Tin Roof there as well. Check out fountain square, there are some good places there too. Rockbottom is one of my favorites. Good beers and really good homemade root beer. If you're coming up from Knox and have to go north of the city I'd take 71 once you get in Cinci instead of 75. There's some bad construction on 75 just north of downtown. They also just opened a Casino off of 71 downtown.

I just moved back to TN from SW Ohio. Cincinnati is a GREAT city! While you're in town, you definitely need to hit up a Skyline or Gold Star Chili. Some great places to eat are right along the banks in downtown, especially Holy Grail if you like nice sports bars. Reds games are amazing, I know this coming week the Pirates are in town for 4 games. The zoo is pretty good, but in a bad location in Clifton. Newport Aquarium and Willy's BBQ are right across the river in Newport/Covington, KY. Findlay market is another great place to go in Cincy. A pretty good number of Vols fans there too with the Alumni Chapter. Most UC fans will talk with you and have great things to say about Butch Jones, but some are still a little bitter after he somewhat committed to them after turning down Purdue and Colorado. But Cincinnati is an outstanding city and you'll enjoy your visit! Go VOLS!!

I hear they make some mean chili in Cincinnati.

I can't help with your questions. I've never been to Cincy.
Not bad. This is from Skyline restaurant last winter, and I think I just got rid of it. Tasty though.

I'll be in Cincy this weekend visiting a friend and she doesn't have cable so are there any bars around the city that Vol fans meet up for games or any bars in general that may be good for viewing the game? Not sure how big VolNation is in Cincy..
