More reason for us to do well this season. Can't stand any "Memphis is the best team in the state" talk.

Memphis fans have been talking trash around here, since Babers opened his mouth.

Sweet, should be a good game. I would normally have no problem going bearcats, but they have had trouble getting over the hump and finishing games since Butch left. Memphis seems to be feeding off some hype right now. Could get ugly tonight. Great warm up for saturday.

It's weird, Memphis is like UK to me. I hate them in basketball but sort of want them to do well in football, but I think that has more to do with them never being that good.

If they ever get consistently good, I'd probably start hating them.

eays to claim you are the best when you dont have to play anybody and prove it. Would be nice to play their schedule. We put 59 on BGSU while we played terrible on defense, got two TDs called back and missed a chip shot FG. Easily could have been over 70 points. I like Memphis and they are much better but c'mon play somebody.

The Memphis offense is lethal with Paxton Lynch at the helm, but the defense is suspect at best. They should still win 9-10 games regardless. A far cry from being literally the worst team in FBS a few years ago.

I'll be rooting for Memphis. I root for all TN teams in football except Vandy (and used to root for them during CBJ tenure.)

I grudgingly respect the Tiger football team. They have the deck stacked against them. If they do well, their coach leaves. If they do poorly, they get everyone talking trash about them haha. It's the opposite of their basketball program, who has every benefit in the world and does less with it.

According to their fans, their basketball program is right on par with Duke, Carolina, Kansas, Indiana, and UCLA.

I'll pull for Memphis in football as long as were not playing them. I don't mind seeing them succeed on the football field because it's not like were competing with them for recruits.
