Cincinnati vs USF Thursday night

What if it's a Boise State vs. Cincinnati match up?

The calls for a playoff would be deafening (good), but not because that match up would actually be more unjust than many prior ones (bad).

Boise St. vs Cincy in the title game would be epic... fail.

Hopefully Boise would take cincy to the woodshed to dismantle the BCS and Big East all at once.

Boise, Cincy and Iowa are some of the worst undefeated and most overrated teams I've ever seen. I am just throwing that out there.... if sneaking by Northern Iowa, Fresno State, Tulsa and Arkansas State etc. are the standard to be undefeated and highly ranked then my how college football has fallen.

Yeah because that 98 UT team, didn't have any close calls either.

When they get beat worse in the BCS title game than tosu ever imagined?

I could live with that if it meant the end of the Big East's automatic bid.
Does that mean the SEC should have lost its automatic bid when West Virginia beat Georgia senseless in the Sugar Bowl?

The Auburn team Tennessee struggled mightily with that year was no better than this year's Fresno State squad.
But UT did beat Florida, a Syracuse team that played in a BCS game (I think, not positive), and Arkansas who was 8-0 at the time. They also had to win the SEC championship, although I can't remember how good MSU was.

How good do you think Cinci really is?

They're alot better than people here are giving them credit for. Most of these said people probably have never seen them play and are basing it on the Big East and it being Cincy...

Coach Kelly is one hell of a coach. He is a proven winner, at different levels. People don't realize HOW BAD Cincy used to be. They don't realize that Cincy has had previously atleast, almost no support from the University to develop a great football program. Their priority is BBall. They don't millions upon millions devoted to them like SEC schools do. What Kelly has done with that program in a short period of time is amazing. He won't be there much longer unless he simply chooses to, because big schools will come calling for him.

One of those schools might just be our rival UF if Meyer ever leaves to ND.

Florida beat Syracuse 31-10 in the Orange Bowl.

I think they are better than South Florida was a few years ago when they started like 6-0 or whatever, but I still don't think they could play with some of the top teams like UF, Bama, Texas, or SC.

I don't really need to look at stats to make my decision here. I've been watching these teams, and I can say with confidence that the SEC has terrible with the offenses with a few exceptions. Bama, UF, and I guess Arkansas have impressed me.

Ok, so all of this is based on your opinion, yet you argue it as fact.

Do you really think the SEC has good offenses? Most of them have been so painful to watch throughout the entire season.

There is more offense in the SEC this year than in years past and it's not even close.

South Florida giving up 200 yards on the ground to Western Kentucky doesn't bode to well for the Big East defenses.

Cincinati giving up 290 yards rushing to Fresno State and 168 to South Florida tells me their D is stout.
