Where is talk of Litaker being processed out coming from? I thought he, Emerson, and Lawless were good to go.

Check his thread. Talks about him possibly not being a part of this class. Many people are hoping Pruitt doesn't pull his offer. Apparently he's had a lot of personal loss this year.

I have him as a part of our class, because I think when it's all said and done he will be. But the talk is there.

Thanks to you guys who keep folks like me informed about recruiting.:hi:

Being completely real, this is the best time to start following. You're getting onboard with a new coaching staff the same time that players are.

I started following recruiting when Kiffin was hired, and I gotta admit, it makes you feel so much more connected to Tennessee football, and the college game in general.

Kind of cool when you follow a kid from high school to the pros, and be like "I remember when Ron Swanson started his thread on VN and now look at him..."

Recruiting is a awesome thing to follow. Time consuming because there's so many student athletes, but still, awesome to follow.

Yeah, thanks, I just went into his thread. I hope this does not happen. I understand the injuries, but this is just not a guy they can process out without risk of collateral damage.

It appears that Pruitt is trying to keep Tennessee high school ties intact this time around.

If I'm being completely honest, I don't think if it were Pruitt's choosing that Antonutti and Lane would be apart of this class. BUT...given the fact that he wants to maintain good relations in Tennessee, he didn't cut either of them loose.

I think ultimately, because that Murfreesboro, Oakland connection is so important, D'Andre may be a part of this class. I just don't see coach burning a bridge over an injury. Not at this point in the game. Oakland is not a school you wanna tick off.

Agreed.

I mean work your other pipelines for an elite 2019 class, but at this point those 3 TN guys are not going to make or break the class.

Litaker is a guy I wouldn't want to play against if I cut him loose with all of the things that have gone on in his life. And Lane is one of those kids that will probably outwork a couple of 4-5 star kids in his time here. Maybe, maybe not, but you definitely want a few guys that will fight like hell in the trenches for their local team pride.

I know man. I did get laid off, however, I start my new job on January 2nd, and it's far above and beyond what I had. God is good.

It has been a blessing (and at times a curse) though to be able to watch this coaching change, and get back in with recruiting.

We are off to a great start.

Thanks much for this, TNHopeful505.

Glad to hear about the new job. God is good all the time.

Yeah, there's already changes...

For instance, Wallace, the OL from Cal isn't coming this weekend, so I don't see him committing this weekend.

But I do still see him being part of this class, if he can get in, and the SEC allows it.

Agreed. Currently Woodi Washington at Oakland is the No. 1 Junior in the state.

Good summary-- thanks.

Warren is definitely signing on the 20th. Warren, Lane, Taylor, Emerson and Brooks are EEs. Lawless and Antonutti will sign early but aren't EEs.

I like it op.

But I'd remove litaker, bell, Wallace, langham, and becton.

Add barmore/Harris, a different rb, kinnard, beal, and j Davis.

If Coach can’t get his players will he resort to 4 star players for appearance sake regardless of fit?

Used to buy those recruiting mags in days of Majors & Fulmer. Now I let the internet experts keep me updated.

I think we need a couple of juco's for the O-line and a couple on defense. Then use the rest of scollys for the the high school kids. If we get a couple of Juco's to add with what we had comming back and the ones who were hurt. With this coaching staff i think we will surprise a few teams next year.

Thanks very much for your time and effort. Outstanding job. I do have a question regarding Wallace. Since he is a grad transfer would he not just count against the 85 total and not against the 25 initial counters? I am still not sure how that works. Thanks.
