James Franklin-- I could see him leaving if offered...at USC you don't have to beat Ohio State every season. You have Oregon, that's it for the most part. Why not leave for bigger stage with less competition.

Urban Meyer- Not happening, next.

Chris Petersen-- Was offered better jobs when he was coaching. Wanted to retire for family issues and don't see why he would return to a job like USC.

Joe Moorhead-- Might be a good hire but I'm guessing USC will want a bigger name hire.

Bob Stoops-- Interesting but don't see it

Matt Campbell-- Is a hot name for every job and with what has become of the B12 I could see him moving on to the bigger program with much better pay.

PJ Fleck-- Honestly don't know why his names continues to pop up for every open job. If your Fleck of course you would leave for USC over Minny.

Kyle Whittingham-- Honestly I think at this point Utah is a much better program in most ways than USC. Money would be the reason to leave.

Greg Schiano--- Honestly?
I think that you are seriously undervaluing how good of a job USC is. To me it’s a top five job in the country. I’d also add Bill O’Brien to your list. He’s not going to be in Tuscaloosa more than a year or two.

BOB to USC would not shock me at all. I'm sure his buyout as the OC at Bama is probably peanuts in the grand scheme of things.

Franklin could be in play, but his buyout Has to be huge? I'm sure it was discussed in our coaching search, but I'm not in a googling kind of mood. Add in that Franklin has yet to actually win much at Penn State even though by the time he came along, the sanctions were pretty much over. I think the best team he has put on the field at PSU won the B10 championship game, but didn't even make the playoffs.

How does one get fired from Mississippi State and end up with the (real) USC gig? 🤨

You don’t have to pay a buyout for a promotion.

If you think Utah is the equivalent or a better job than SC, it means you've spent zero time on The Strand.

There’s better jobs and then there’s BETTER JOBS for different individuals. USC needs a special breed. Whittingham has his perfect fit in Utah.
