The shine will fall from Clemson when they lose to Auburn September 3rd.

Then drop 2 games in conference.

For the SEC sake I hope this happens, but I don't see Auburn beating them.

(1) Auburn has a better 4 year recruiting average. So on paper they are the more talented team.

(2) The game is at Jordan-Hare. That makes a huge difference. Especially to open a season.

(3) College football has a way of surprising us every year. And Auburn has been at the forefront. When you least expect it, they'll have a great season.

Other than Saban at Alabama, no one should have the benefit of the doubt heading into next season. We've seen too many preseason juggernauts flop. Last year both Oregon and Auburn were top 10 teams. Auburn finished unranked and Oregon nearly did as well.

I have Clemson losing 3 games.

Clemson is now my least favorite team. Hell I will be cheering even Bama, the Gators or the Bulldogs over them. In fact, anybody........;)

It will be interesting to see how long it takes before Muschamp looses his cool dealing with Clemson on and off the field.

It's only a matter of time before they have a pay for play scandal. Clemson was never a place, just like Ole Miss, that recruits say I really want to go there.

Esso isn't even much of a bar. It's more of a great eating spot with alcohol. TigerTown, 356 and Sloan Street Taproom are all solid bars.

The Strip is becoming pathetic in its own right these days. Sad how rundown it is.

My brother graduated from Clemson so I've spent a lot of time there over the years when I was 3 hours away at UT. Clemson is a beautiful campus with great academics. Their stadium is one of the biggest in NCAA and they also have a rabid fan base like UT. It doesn't have a lot around it, but it's still a great college town that lives for Saturdays in the fall. Don't hate on the kid for choosing that. They're a trendy team right now with an easier path to the NCAA championship playing in the garbage ACC. When Dabo end up at Bama Clemson will probably start Clemsoning again.

Clemson is no ole miss in recent recruiting success. They've been pulling 5* recruits out their backside at least through the Tommy Bowden era. I seem to recall Tennessee actually sent a 5* QB to Clemson a few years back.

You must have missed how we do things around here......We land 5 5*s in one day, Butch is a master recruiter. Clemson lands a 5*, they must be paying for him.

I almost brought up Danny Ford and his Clemson teams. Figured, why confuse the masses even more.

Clemson will not lose 3 games with that embarrassing schedule

Clemson has the best QB in CFB and have more talent everywhere but D-Line. Clemson played really good against Bama last year...I say Clemson by 10 on the road

Then we would be talking payments.

Dabo is just a great recruiter regardless if folks around here want to give him his due. If he does indeed replace Saban I see Bama staying competitive for awhile cause the talent will continue to roll in.

and further Knoxville doesn't just have the Strip as its "scene". Downtown/market square and old city are happening places for the size of town Knoxville is.
