Clemson had zero penalties for zero yards in that ACC chip.

They were called for a meaningless 5yd running into the kicker after a made FG, but it was declined.

Welcome to the ACC ....SMU.

Just like UGA...the SEC refs protected them the whole game. No holding calls to kill UGA drives, No PI calls to extend texas drives...
Welcome to the SEC, texas.

I will say that Kirby (who names their kid that? Seriously?) Badly outclassed Sark in the coaching department. Fake punt, going for that 4th and 2 on the first drive of the 2nd half. Killed Sark. Texas had horrible playcalling the entire game...slow developing pass plays and misdirection when UGA blitzed on almost every snap. Terrible. Have to get the ball out quickly to beat UGA, or Tennessee.

Clemson just knocked Bama out of the playoffs though Hahahahahahahahahahaah

I think SMU should still get in. Getting booted from the playoffs for losing the conference championship game is not a new concept, though. I know it is now a 12 team field rather than four and that does make a difference. However, we are talking about Bama here. If it were Ole Miss or South Carolina in that spot, I would fully agree that there would be no chance of it happening. Teams like Bama, Ohio St and Notre Dame are always treated differently, though. For instance, in 2016, Penn St beat Ohio St head to head, played in and beat #6 Wisconsin in the Big 10 CG, yet they were left out in favor of Ohio St. the reasoning the committee gave was that Penn St had lost two games and Ohio State’s only loss was to Penn St.

If you are listing in order of rank, I don't think OSU can change its rank versus Notre Dame per the committee chair interviews both Tuesday and today on Game Day. OSU rank can change due to Texas losing and PSU losing. We shall see. He was challenged a few times and said repeatedly non-playing teams will not change their relative position versus other non-playing teams this weekend. Thus I would expect ND to stay above OSU. He used Tennessee and Indiana as an example and said IU cannot jump Tennessee since there is no new data from this weekend. Teams playing this weekend provide a new data point for them only and their rankings can change. Just what I heard and read.

Not in order. Just grouping into the 4 categories. Ranking 1-12 is too much work and would probably be wrong.

I hate it but SMU had to win to get in. The Mustangs fall 4 spots to 11, making them the last team out

SMU best wins are Duke Louisville and TCU. And lost to BYU and Clemson. Sorry SMU shouldn't make the playoffs IMO. I hate Bama but I would put them over SMU all day. I'd be shocked if Bama was left out, because of just the name. SEC will get 4 just like the Big Ten. 1 Big 12, 1 ACC, Notre Dame, and Boise State.

I initially said Bama gets in if SMU loses. In light of the SMI comeback and the Chairman’s comments, I think Bama is out. They better be.

Still think it's bs smu had to play a close game just to possibly stay in the playoffs while Alabama with 3 losses is sitting at home watching other teams play in championship games

Also ACC is a long running conference that has had some college clout in Basketball mainly, but it is the same pool of ppl that hash these things out. So do you award a non-playing SEC team with 3 losses and the last a blowout to an unranked opponent, Giving SEC 4 teams or do you reward ACC championship loser that got beat on a last second 56-yard FG.as time expires. and give ACC 2 teams instead of just the 1 auto qualifier.
